Applying for a Custom Tattoo!

Submissions for 2024 will be accepted through 5pm on January 20th.

All appointments are for May through December 2024. No sooner appointments are available.

Please read below and review my portfolio of work before submitting an inquiry form. My custom tattoo slots are going to be more limited than usual for the sake of my personal time and mental health, so not all applications will be accepted in this round. Flash inquiries will always be given priority appointments. This is NOT the form for FLASH or Pre-Drawn tattoos.

All applications will be responded to unless your application contains subject matter that I’ve specifically said I don’t want to do. Those are listed below. In some cases, I may be able to refer a different local artist, as their style might be a better fit for your concept.

For the best possible chance, consider the following:

• Tattoo subjects within my wheelhouse will be granted priority bookings. These subjects include: bones/skulls/skeletons, botanical work, fantasy animals, cryptids, sea life, or dinosaurs.

• Designs where I get creative freedom are highly preferred, as it allows me to really follow my own vibe.

• I strongly prefer to tattoo in the following locations: calf, ankle, thigh, forearm, and upper arm/shoulder. Tattoo placements for ribs, chest, back, or sternum take a lot out of me, so I will be less likely to take those projects on at this time. I do not want to tattoo throat, face, pelvic regions, palms, or top of feet.

• I’d prefer to tattoo medium-sized pieces this round, so ideally tattoos that range from 5” to 8”. Other pieces are still okay, I just like projects this size.

• I’m not currently interested in taking on projects that feature:

  • Human Anime characters

  • Human portraits

  • Mechs or vehicles

  • Harry Potter-inspired designs

  • Fine-line stylized work

  • Mini or micro tattoos under 3”

  • Geometry or sacred geometry

  • Mandalas

  • Finger tattoos or face tattoos

  • Large-scale blackwork or black-out designs

PLEASE READ THIS:

• Booking Deposits are $50 and non-refundable. It reserves your appointment and comes out of your final tattoo cost.

• Drawing fees apply to custom pieces and are on a sliding scale of $50-200 depending on complexity. You will be invoiced for a draw fee alongside the Booking Deposit.

• Credit Card Fees are 6.5% and are applied to purchases in-studio as well as via invoicing. Cash is lovely and incurs no fees.

• Cancellation Fees are $200 for a cancellation made within a week of your appointment for reasons OTHER than family, health, or transportation emergencies. A no-call no-show will result in a blacklisted client and you will not be invited back to my studio.

• Invoicing is a privilege to preexisting clients only and must be communicated ahead of the session so that I can plan my financial week around it. Do not plan on asking for an invoice unless we have already discussed it.

• Tips are not required but appreciated in whatever form feels comfortable for you. I love totems or weird/cursed items for the studio, or treats for Laika, the dog! Tipping on credit cards is not currently possible.
